More Medical Fun On The Nintendo DS

Guardian Gamesblog reports that German mini-publisher JoWood is issuing the DS game Lifesigns: Hospital Affairs in the UK. Developed by Spike, the team behind the Trauma Centre series, this one’s more of a soap opera-style RPG with players taking on the role of a young doctor, who must roam the wards placating patients and chatting with other staff.

video games can reshape education

On the SLED digest today news about an article published in the Seattle Times – Scientists say video games can reshape education.

The Federation of American Scientists recently declared that video games (like SL) should to be researched as a possible direction for education in the future. The full report (which I’ve not read) can be seen here
