My colloquium on the JISC TechDis HEAT scheme project has now been published in the British Journal of Educational Technology 38 (3), 532–534.
The project team met at the Cohehre conference in Sarajevo during April 2007 to discuss progress. The minutes are available from the Cohehre Website.
More debate on the veracity of Wikipedia in Education Guardian as the UK Education Secretary is criticised for recommending it. Also interesting how some universities are now banning it from being cited by students in essays.

Attended the London consultation event (4th April) and tried to add some ideas to the framework for “Learning Beyond Text” strand that related to the use of technology (social software and interactive media) . Probably the most interesting additional point to come out of the day was the success rates for applications – only 10% in strategic mode whereas 25-30% are successful in responsive mode making this the better option for applications maybe…
