Catching up with Wired from February 2007 and an interesting use of avatars by MTV on Virtual Laguna Beach…the potential and social networking aspects of this environment are what might appeal to educators looking to hook into the next generation of students who are fast getting used to this sort of 3d experience in their everyday life.
