Whilst googling (!) today I was delighted to come across an old Jaiku post saying I’d motivated PF Anderson to create a SL Healthy Wiki. A great idea and obviously she’s been a lot busier with her project than we have with ours recently (!). This is definitely something else to examine in more detail at a later date.
The concept of Wikis used as a portal for pointing to other web information is an idea I’m pursuing with the Patient Journey wiki (also in Wetpaint – snap) and you can find out more about this project or get involved with it here.
A month in to our one year project and we’ve had a few visits to our building without doing much advertising other than via this blog and posting to a couple of Second Life Mailing Lists. I’m not sure if these are fabulous figures or not for comparison but it’s worth noting them as we approach the end of September. I’m also aware that the building needs a lot more done to it to make it more interactive which we hope to address in the next few months. Any suggestions gratefully received !

I’ve just managed to get the visitor counter working on the HSC Gallery (I don’t know why the other one wasn’t working – must have been a coding error on my part), so could everyone who has visited the site since we launched it please do so again so I’ve got a record of you all …..only joking

The intention of this area is to run a low cost (!) one year trial project to examine and investigate the use and effectiveness of Second Life for educational possibilities.
