The makers of I Am Legend have come up with a terrific viral marketing campaign for Will Smith’s new film utilising a multiplayer first person shooter in Second Life which proved much more attractive to me than the educational launch of Media Zoo which I was planning on visiting yesterday evening. Strolling around the beautifully crafted orientation island created by the Electric Sheep Company I was struck by how it would be great if something this professional could be applied to an educational setting (a large scale health based simulation on a similar scale – obviously lacking the murderous vampires).

How much would something like this cost to create?
